At UMA we offer a gastronomy based on the best product we can offer to our guests, mainly inspired by the local vegetable garden (Baix Llobregat and Alt Penedés) and the Mediterranean Sea.
The products with which we prepare our proposal are carefully selected by our chef, who never ceases in his efforts to bring to those who visit us the best of our environment.
Every day we receive notices from our producers about the availability of the most exceptional products, whether they are fish, seafood or vegetables, without a doubt a wonderful source of inspiration and added motivation to taste our environment in the most sustainable way.

The gastronomic proposal varies according to the creations and offers around 10-12 courses.
All with an approximate duration of 2:30h.

A SUSTAINABLE GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE
At UMA we have proposed to offer a gastronomy far from food speculation. Our goal is to generate 0 organic waste.
To do this we strive to acquire only and exclusively the food that we are going to process for your enjoyment and make with them a circular gastronomy in which each waste is used in one or another elaboration. This is the driving force that motivates us to offer a unique seasonal tasting menu based on local produce, with no other alternative than those required for health reasons for our diners.
In UMA we also have vetoed products whose popularity promotes an excessive production or capture, thus reducing either the prosperity of some species or the quality of some foods.
OWN PRODUCERS OF THE EXPERIENCE
Recently we have had the opportunity to acquire a small agricultural space from which we have begun, timidly, but excitingly to produce some of the vegetables, herbs and flowers that are served in the proposal of UMA.
Our desire is to hook ourselves to the natural cycles of all those products that we are passionate about in order to be able to supply our proposal in a self-sufficient way with our own production and organic farming. For this we have the collaboration of organic producers who currently supply our space.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT THE DINING EXPERIENCE
How many courses are on the menu?
The experience is usually composed of snacks, 10-12 savory dishes and 2 desserts. This is not a fixed structure but is adapted and modified according to the seasonal menu.
CAN I SEE THE CURRENT MENU?
No, the menu is always a surprise, you can find in our social networks or on this website a slight preview of the style of cuisine we offer but the menus or part of them are made almost daily.
Can I come with my child, is there a children's menu?
Being a 2h-2h30 experience we do not recommend that you come with children, that said, you know your child and you know if he/she will be able to endure the experience without interfering with the rest of the diners. The same goes for babies, they should not interfere with the experience of the rest of the guests. If you must stop to feed your baby, the rhythm of the service will continue and you will probably miss a dish, likewise, we ask you to be aware that the cries or complaints of a baby may be annoying to other diners.
We do not offer children’s menus or similar alternatives.
PUNCTUALITY
Punctuality is requested. The service will start at the established time and with the diners present in the room. The management reserves the right to refuse entry to the premises to those who do not meet this requirement considering their absence as a ”no show” and applying the cancellation policy in these cases. Any diner arriving later than the required time, if accepted, assumes the possibility of missing part of the experience. In no case will dishes already served be retaken due to lack of punctuality.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I ARRIVE LATE?
You will probably miss the start of the experience. UMA’s service is done in unison for the entire room and we cannot ask the rest of the diners, who have arrived on time, to wait for anyone.
Can we arrive early?
Of course, at UMA we have a reception lounge where you can enjoy a drink before the start of the experience.
Can I take a break during the experience to go out for a smoke?
It is always convenient to let a waiter know if you wish to take a short break, he will indicate the best time to do so, in the case of having presented your next pass, if you do not let us know of your break, this dish will be lost and will not be cooked again. Remember that all diners enjoy the experience in unison.
Is there meat on the menu?
The proposal at UMA is mainly composed of vegetables, fish and seafood. That said, it is at the chef’s whim to cook some game in season, or to use some type of meat as an integral part of other dishes.
I am a vegetarian, do you recommend the experience?
At UMA we strive to make the vegetarian experience as interesting and complete as the omnivorous alternative. In the case of vegetarian menus we do appreciate the freedom to cook with dairy, eggs and mushrooms so as not to excessively close the range of possibilities.
Do you accept pescetarians?
Our proposal is based on fish, seafood and vegetables mainly, some elaboration with meat products occasionally so it is not a problem. Remember to indicate in your reservation your desire not to eat meat.
WHAT IS GARDEN GASTRONOMY?
As ambassadors of Champagne La Grande Dame in Spain, we are committed to promote a gastronomy where the main focus is the vegetable element, being the protagonist of the dishes.
ALERGIAS E INTOLERANCIAS
UMA offers a surprise tasting menu. Allergies and intolerances must be communicated at the time of booking. Otherwise, we will not be able to guarantee the required modifications. In order to fully enjoy the experience, we recommend that you DO NOT request modifications unless they are strictly necessary and for health reasons.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Any modification or cancellation must be made at least 72 hours in advance, by replying to the reconfirmation email (check your junk mail) or through info@espaciouma.com. No cancellations or modifications will be made by telephone. Otherwise, without exception, your credit card will be charged for the full amount of the reservation. No-shows or no-shows after the indicated time, which will be considered as no-shows, will be affected by the same cancellation policy.
This policy will also apply to tickets or gift vouchers and will not be redeemable again.
