Cookie policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. Some are necessary for the website to work; others are used for measurement and we only use them if you give us permission (art. 22.2 of Ley 34/2002, LSSI, the Spanish Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Act, and the GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Controller: Espacio UMA (UMA CONCEPT, S.L.).
What espaciouma.com uses
Without your permission we do not install measurement or advertising cookies. We only store your cookie choice in your browser (in local storage, under the name uma-cookies, for 12 months; after that we ask you again). The reservation and gift card pages, and the videos and maps you choose to open, work as explained below.
If you accept, these are the cookies that are installed:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) | Distinguishing visitors with a pseudonymous identifier (it does not carry your name) to count visits | Analytics · installed on our domain by Google | 400 days |
_ga_6C8NSBZ121 |
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) | Keeping the session state in our Analytics property | Analytics · installed on our domain by Google | 400 days |
_gcl_au |
Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited) | Knowing which Google ads bring in reservations | Marketing · installed on our domain by Google | 90 days |
_fbp |
Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) | Knowing which Meta ads bring in reservations; Meta also uses this data, as controller, to show and improve ads | Marketing · installed on our domain by Meta | 90 days |
With marketing cookies accepted, Google and Meta may also read or install their own cookies on their domains (for example, doubleclick.net and facebook.com), according to their policies:
- Google: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
- Meta: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policies/cookies/
The notice has three groups: Necessary (always on: they only store your choice), Analytics (Google Analytics) and Marketing (Google Ads and Meta). “Accept” and “Reject” carry the same weight, and in “Settings” you can choose group by group.
Reservations and gift cards (CoverManager)
The reservation module and the gift card shop belong to CoverManager (Restaurant Booking & Distribution Services, S.L.U.) and are loaded from its domain, covermanager.com, within some pages of this website (in a window or a box) or on its own page. This is third-party content: when it loads (when you open the reservation window or reach the reservation or gift card box on the page), CoverManager installs its own cookies (for example, PHPSESSID, which identifies your session on CoverManager and lasts 14 days) and, depending on its configuration, those of its payment, security and measurement providers, with its own cookie notice: https://www.covermanager.com/es/politica-de-cookies
Within the reservation module, CoverManager may also load measurement tools with its own configuration, such as its own Google Tag Manager and its integration with Meta; we have asked it to disable the integration with Meta. UMA’s old tag container has no active tags.
Videos and maps
Some pages contain YouTube videos and a Google Maps map that only load if you click on them; until then, the page does not connect to Google. When you click, the video plays from youtube-nocookie.com and the map from google.com, and Google may read or install its own cookies, according to its policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
How to change your mind
- On any page, in the footer, click “Cookies”: the notice opens again and you can accept, reject or configure.
- You can also delete or block cookies from your browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge explain how in their help pages.
If you withdraw your permission, we stop using those cookies from that moment. Those already in your browser can be deleted from its settings.
Transfers
Google and Meta may process data in the United States, with the safeguards explained in the Privacy policy (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
